It is very important that, Whoever signs for the goods, Checks very carefully that all goods have been received and that they are undamaged, even if this means the courier is kept waiting while you check them.

Once goods have been signed for you have officially stated that you have received said goods complete and in good condition, Signing the goods and unchecked is not acceptable.

Continental Car Parts will not be able to process a “freight damage claim” with the freight company, if the receiver of the goods has not noted the damage at the point of receipt on a damaged freight report form that the driver will have.

Continental Car Parts cannot accept responsibility for any damaged or (missing goods from torn packages), once they have been signed for and accepted to be in good condition.

  1. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILTY TO CHECK PARTS FOR ANY DAMAGE WHEN DELIVERED BEFORE ACCEPTING / SIGNING. IF THE PARTS ARE DAMAGED ON DELIVERY IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CARRIAGE COMPANY. YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN 24 HRS. Continental Car Parts ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES AFTER DISPATCH FROM US.
  2. Continental Car Parts WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY LABOUR CHARGES INCURRED BY THE CUSTOMER.
  3. Continental Car Parts WILL DEDUCT THE INITIAL HANDLING CHARGE WHEN THE PARTS ARE RETURNED.
  4. Continental Car Parts WILL NOT PAY ANY CARRIAGE FOR RETURNED PARTS UNLESS AUTHORISED BY US.
  5. REFUNDS WILL TAKE UP TO 7 WORKING DAYS.
  6. ANY PARTS DISMANTLED AND SEALS BROKEN WITH OR WITHOUT OUR AUTHORISATION WILL INVALIDATE THIS WARRANTY.
  7. ALL ENGINES AND GEARBOXES ARE DRAINED OF ALL FLUIDS FOR CARRIAGE, (OILS & ANTIFREEZE). IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO REFILL PRIOR TO USE, AS ANY DAMAGE INCURRED WILL INVALIDATE THIS WARRANTY.
  8. ALL PARTS ARE GUARANTEED FOR 90 DAYS FROM YOUR INVOICE DATE.
  9. ENGINE TIMING BELTS AND WATER PUMPS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY AND IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT A NEW TIMING BELT BE FITTED.
